In Washington Heights, NYC, Nina arrives back home from her first year at college, only to reveal to her parents that she had dropped out after flunking classes due to work. In the coming days, the Heights goes dark in a blackout, a nearly six-figure lottery is won, and devastating loss occurs. OCU produced the show that won Miranda his first Tony Award under the direction of Original Broadway Cast Member, Luis Salgado.
